Luxury Cars on Show at Geneva
The Geneva Motor Show showcases some of the world's most desirable new cars. Cars Guide recently provided an analysis of some of the best luxury cars that were presented on the day.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is due for release in Australia next year. Made of carbonfibre with a 1.8 litre engine, fans can expect to pay around $100,000 for the sports car.
Chevrolet showcased a drop-top version of its Corvette Stingray, with a 6.2 litre engine and a 0-100 kilometres per hour time of four seconds.
A custom-built Bertone Rapide Jet 2+2 was on display. Made as a 100th anniversary special, this four-door supercar sports a huge six litre engine.
Another anniversary special, this time from Lamborghini, is the Veneno. Marking the brand's 50th year, the Veneno is a very limited edition of just three cars, priced at $3.8 million each.
More affordable and less exclusive, Ferrari plans to release 499 of its first hybrid, the LaFerrari, which can reach speeds of more than 350km/h.
Bentley's Flying Spur is its fastest four-door ever, maxing out at 322km/h.
