Cheapest Home Loan Award - loans.com.au
Customers say loans.com.au is cheapest
When choosing a home loan, it is useful to compare interest rates and loan features, and to listen to what customers say.
loans.com.au has great home loans, and now also the title of Australia's Cheapest Home Loans in the 2013 Mozo People's Choice Awards – the only lending awards judged by customers.
Over 28,000 customers voted in the 2013 Mozo People's Choice Awards, which is now in its fourth year. Mozo bills the awards as 'a comprehensive consumer report card on the financial services industry in Australia.'
This year about 150 of Australia's best financial institutions were rated by customers in areas such as:
- overall satisfaction
- product features
- customer service
The results were announced on September 30 and appeared on News Limited websites and on Channel 7’s current affairs program Today Tonight. You can see all the winners on www.mozo.com.au. The lists included top five banks, mutual banks, credit unions, building societies, car insurers, specialist car insurers.
loans.com.au was rated highly in the ‘Best Home Loans’ category in addition to winning the specialist category of ‘Cheapest Home Loans’. Mozo reports that record low interest rates sparked a surge in customer satisfaction this year, and that challenger brands and mutuals had happier customers than the big banks.
Home loans saw the biggest increase in customer satisfaction, as Australians enjoyed once-in-a-lifetime record low rates. Satisfaction with term deposits was down, due to falling interest rates also.
loans.com.au thanks all of the customers who voted in the awards and for recognising our home loans as the cheapest in Australia. This is a great tribute to our Australian-owned company that strives to get people into their dream home sooner.
2013 is a good year for loans.com.au. We are the reigning Non-Bank of the Year, winning six gold medals in the Australian Home Loan Awards.
