We were out in force alongside the 50-50 Charity Raffle team at the Broncos vs Panthers season opener, helping raise money and awareness for Children’s Hospital Foundation. Our team proudly volunteered on the night, contributing to a raffle that raised more than $100,000 for children and families in need. One of our volunteers, Sinead, shared why this cause is especially meaningful to her.
“This cause is especially close to my heart - I’ve seen firsthand how vital their support is for families with seriously ill children. Last year, my daughter was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia, a life‑threatening bone marrow failure syndrome. She spent nearly six months in hospital awaiting a transplant, isolated from the world. During that time, the Children’s Hospital Foundation became our saving grace.
With no ability to attend school or play with friends, the Foundation brought moments of normality through bedside play, handmade blankets, dolls, coffee vouchers, music therapy, book deliveries and Bravery Beads. They also help fund lifesaving research and critical medical equipment.
