Seven team members from loans.com.au recently took part in Share the Dignity’s 10,000 Bag Packing Event, a hands-on initiative supporting women, girls, and those who menstruate who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence, or poverty. We helped pack bags filled with essential hygiene items including pads, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant. We also included a handwritten note in each bag, offering a heartfelt message to brighten someone’s day. It was a truly rewarding morning, and we’re proud to support a charity that’s making a real difference in the lives of Australians.
Why do we support them?
Share the Dignity is committed to achieving menstrual equity in Australia. Their work ensures that when someone is doing it tough, the last thing they need to worry about is managing their period. They do this through education, advocacy, and programs like the Eco Period Club, which provides reusable period products and education to teens aged 13–19, Share the Dignity is helping to restore dignity and empower communities.
