Our loans.com.au team remains dedicated to supporting Australian children who may otherwise go without a meal. In November, 15 of our amazing staff took part in our second Eat Up Australia sandwich-making session for the year, rolling up their sleeves to prepare 1,758 sandwiches for students across Australia. This session was also one of the final volunteer days for Eat Up in 2025, as schools begin to wind down and head into the summer holidays. It was a great opportunity for our team to finish the year strong and contribute to the remaining deliveries before the term ends.
Eat Up Australia plays a vital role in ensuring children have access to a nutritious lunch so they can stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn. With the rising cost of living, more schools are reporting an increase in students arriving without food. A simple sandwich may seem small, but for a hungry child, it can change their whole day by boosting concentration and supporting their overall wellbeing.
