Case Study: Jackie
We're interviewing some of our amazing loans.com.au customers to get to know their home buying stories.
We had a chat with Brisbane-based software development manager Jackie and asked her a few questions about her experience, challenges, and how she overcame them.
Background
I needed to refinance my home as part of a Family Court property settlement. My new partner had been with loans.com.au for about a year and strongly recommended loans.com.au. I saw that the rate loans.com.au offered was really good so I didn’t even talk to anyone else.
Challenge
- I refinanced for more than the size of my original loan and I had to get a new valuation to support a higher loan value.
“ It put me at ease that everything was being done correctly at every step.”
Solutions
- Loans.com.au made the process was easy. The costs for the valuation were made clear to me upfront and the valuation happened very quickly.
How was your loans.com.au experience?
I contacted loans.com.au through the online chat, and was impressed that they had instant support any time of day. They were informative. Everyone I spoke to was able to answer the questions that I had. It just helped me understand everything along the way. It put me at ease that everything was being done correctly at every step.
The process of being able to do all of the application online through OnTrack – both the website and the app - was really, really good. I could see at every step exactly what was happening and what needed to be done. The whole settlement process is always daunting because there's a lot of bits of and pieces to it. Being able to upload the documents on the onTrack app was really easy. Being able to electronically sign everything through the app and then, after settlement happened, transition to Smart Money to manage my loan and offset account was really easy as well.
