Tell us about yourself...
My name is Jordan and I’m the eldest (and favourite) child. I spend most of my spare time in the Gym and when I'm not there I'm either producing music from my home studio or DJing.
What's your role and how long have you been with the company?
I am a Sales Support Officer and have now been here for just over 2 years.
What is your involvement with the loans.com.au Women, Children & Community Program?
I've participated in Darkness to Daylight for Challenge DV, I’ve spent a day volunteering at Wesley Mission Queensland Brisbane Relief Hub, I’ve grown a mo for Movember and also donated various useful items to Baby Give Back. I also featured in a photoshoot promoting period pride for Share the Dignity!
What do you think of the Program?
I truly have never worked for a company who is so involved in all of these various aspects of givebacks to those in need. Every time there is a chance for me to be involved with something of this nature I jump for the chance as I really take a lot away from this.
Why did you choose Wesley Mission as your volunteer day?
I chose the Wesley Mission as my volunteer day as I felt I could take more away from a day there helping those in need and was absolutely blown away after my morning there helping with the free lunch giveback.
What would you say to someone considering volunteering?
DO IT! No matter the cause as you will come out of it with some positive impact on your daily perception of what we may consider 'problems' and how in reality there are others doing it tough around us everywhere who can benefit from the smallest kind gesture.
